After Infinite Crap, I gave 52 a shot (and it was decent), then Countdown came along and a few weeks into it I went 'Wow, this is really shitty. I think I'll stop collecting it.', and I was happier for it. Now I hear bad things about Final Crisis and I think 'I'm so glad I just skipped this whole round of BS crossovers.'.
Yeah...Morrison has LOST it...I felt like this was a 12-issue series that somehow got edited down to 7 issues...I can't figure out what actually happened.
The whole idea of building up to this great disaster that Darkseid is the center of for 6 freaking issues, then having him die off-screen is the cheapest shot in storytelling.

It was like I was watching a Stanley Kubrick movie with a bad plot.... eyes Wide Shut anyone?
But, I must say even though the Legion of Three worlds books are slow to the newstand, it just got Reeeeeeeeeeeeeally good this past issue.
