The Death Knell of the Bear Movement

If only I had listened...

I love how at 1:30 they all squat down like they're passing a giant dump.

"HOOO-ooooo, it's so good, it's so good, it's soooo goooooood..."

Hey! The initials of Bear Movement *are* BM!

I did think the same thing. And then listened to some Amen to try and clear my ears. Seriously, not going to make much progress in the world if this is how people see bear musicians....

Why does making progress have to be all about conforming to societal norms? These guys are being themselves and putting it out there. Isn't that like inscribed on some tacky bear paw monument out there somewhere as to what a bear is "supposed to be"?

Hmm....are they really being themselves though? And surely they're conforming to societal norms by being an obviously gay shitty europop group that'll be forgotten in ooh, a week?

Well who knows when anyone is truly being themselves? Come on.

They're putting out a product that is made up of what they are inspired by. Why is it so difficult for people to understand that a Bear Body can have a party boi inside - what's wrong with wanting to be out their shaking your booty to pop music (bad or good) and letting yourself go? And how is that not a part of being yourself and making progress?

So it's forgotten in a week - it's responsible for us having a lively discussion now... and that's progress too.

Now come on - how can you say this isn't taking us into a new era of peace love and understanding? hee hee
