There is so much eye candy in Chicago right now...

...I may have gotten cavities in my eye teeth.

Made it to Chicago!

Here once again at the abode of my gracious host, [livejournal.com profile] sunflower1969 . Tomorrow I'm off to the Art Institute to check out the new Modern art wing. If you are here and available for social stuff or wish rubbins be applied to you, gimme a holler. I will be checking yahoo and email fairly regularly.

Home from the Coast

The East Coast, specifically the Golden Isles of Georgia. Varmint and I took a road trip for a few days and visited his best friend down there whilst we sight-saw, snapped pics, hung out, relaxed, and had some yummy foodz. Gobs of pics to upload but here's a few to get it started:

Campin' Trip!

I spent a couple days right before the election saying goodbye to...all of this (goodbye, all of this!). And hello...but not to Oblivion. Instead it was to good ol Mutha Nature up in the North Georgia mountains and it was the totally perfect weekend for it. Bright blue sky, crisp air, leaves on rainbow fire...cool enough to wear shorts and t-shirts by day, cold enough for snuggling in the sleeping bag at night.

Got home just in time to hear Obama's acceptance speech. Since I'd voted a week prior I wasn't interested in the last minute play-by-play hysteria.

Except for a 10 minute visit from a hiker and the park potty service guy, Varmint and I had the place to ourselves.

There is a sample of the 200 pics I took up on my flickr...I expect there will be at least twice as many more good shots to post up - but first its off to teach class! Enjoy!
