Campin' Trip!
Nov. 5th, 2008 04:13 pmI spent a couple days right before the election saying goodbye to...all of this (goodbye, all of this!). And hello...but not to Oblivion. Instead it was to good ol Mutha Nature up in the North Georgia mountains and it was the totally perfect weekend for it. Bright blue sky, crisp air, leaves on rainbow fire...cool enough to wear shorts and t-shirts by day, cold enough for snuggling in the sleeping bag at night.
Got home just in time to hear Obama's acceptance speech. Since I'd voted a week prior I wasn't interested in the last minute play-by-play hysteria.
Except for a 10 minute visit from a hiker and the park potty service guy, Varmint and I had the place to ourselves.
There is a sample of the 200 pics I took up on my flickr...I expect there will be at least twice as many more good shots to post up - but first its off to teach class! Enjoy!
