I want to fight a ticket and I read that at least in some states there are lawyers who just do traffic court cases for cheap because the cases are so quick and easy (for them).  Anyone done this? 

What is a diplomatic way to say "If you fuck with my disabled friend and make her cry I will cut your damn piehole wide open?"

This pretty puppy right here is sick and needs some expensive care - he has heartworms (larval and adult) and is going to need $1200 of treatment.

Of course we are all moving and have the costs associated with it so this couldn't be a worse time. His new owner (my roomie) just used his birthday money and sold his living room furniture to help defray the costs but that still leaves a gap of about $400.

Avery is not acute *yet* but he could go into a acute attack (including cardiac arrest) at any time so the sooner we get this together the better. Both of Avery's "uncles" have hammered home the lesson about "prevention better than cure" so that is not needed at this time, only some help covering the costs!

I am considering buying an iPod Touch (2nd Gen) and was wondering if anyone here used on and what you thought of it.

I'm especially interested in it's web browsing experience, and if you have used it for in-flight wifi or video on a long flight.  I am less worried about its music playing powers as I'm sure they are good enough, that's not the main thing I want it for.

What has been your experience with one?

What do people use for feed aggregators?  I would like to be able to get on the net, DL a bunch of news feeds, etc onto a thumb drive so I could read the stuff later on my laptop at the clinic (which is sans internets currently).

Whats a free and simple way to do this?

Howdy all, I have two Amerikilts (the Faded Glory of modern kilts) which appear to have "shrunk in the wash."  Even though they haven't been washed or worn in some time, it seems when I put them on they just don't quite fit in the waist anymore. Ahem.

Is there anyone who knows (please no wild guesses or conjectures) how and where they might be altered to fit once more?

I hate to just let them sit there doing nothing and I don't really want to sell them or donate them, but I don't trust the local dry cleaners to know what to do with them.
