Nov. 24th, 2006 11:59 amHad a lovely and relaxed Turkey Day yesterday with a "bear minimum" of drama, so that was nice. Mom as usual cooked three times as much food as needed and Magister Rob
monarchprimeand I stuffed ourselves accordingly (and mmmm, leftovers).
Then we were off to Rob's brother's place for another home-cooked turkey meal and a viewing of The Da Vinci Code which I thought I would be totally bored by but instead rather enjoyed.
I already knew the basic premise and a good bit of the lore from reading other sources before the book came out. But they spun the tale at a nice suspenseful pace and I always like Ian McKellen, so it was all good.
Touched base with a few far-flung friends and chillaxed here at the Manse to end the day.
Thanks to everyone who sent IM's, VM's, txt's and otherwise expressed your holiday wishes! love ya!
