A Rub, 2 Cubs, 2 Pups, and 2 Birds in a basket

Good massage session with my regular daddybear client today, though I won't get to see him for a few weeks. Sad times, as Contender Cub would say.

Then a lovely evening of dinner (pork loin and creamed potatoes, mmm), TiVo (Grey's Anatomy and Drawn Together), and dessert with Cadet Mattison mashbyh and Lt. McQ mdmcquaig  Those boys eat more sweets than you could imagine.  Popsicles, Ice cream, cookies, and even milkshakes. ;)

Came home and chatted with Chamberlain Nate mindchaos and Cadet Jamie supercub for a bit.

Even though Mattison had filled me up with pork and taters (what?) I had a hankering for a midnight snack so I fixed some breakfast.  I finally got my "birds in a basket" recipe to work right!  W00t!  Eggy, toasty, buttery, cheesy goodness!



Mmmmm, a delicious day all around.

Well, *fuck*

You know how I've been saving my remaining Wendy's cup promotion flight on AirTran to go to Seattle, to which I've bever been and can't imagine affording to go to without a free flight?  I have til February sometime to use the flight credit....

I just found out they only fly to Seattle in the Summer.  Like, til Labor Day weekend.

Meaning - I'd have to go within the next two weeks, which simply isn't practical with Dragon*Con coming up and visitors in town this weekend.  I can't really plan and take a trip of any consequence by then, not with D*Con (and the art show) looming, and there's no way I'm missing D*Con to do it.

So yeah.  Bye bye Seattle trip. Dammit.

Oh - and bye bye Orlando / Bear Bust trip too.  The combination of having a class to teach here on that Friday (so not being able to get there til Saturday sometime -halfway through the event), not having any peeps also going for sure to ride down with, and a class I've been waiting all year to take on the following Monday = not really worth the trouble / financial outlay / risk.  Thanks anyway for the kind offers joeydiablo and crazyolemoose!

I guess the consolation prize is now I can fly to LAX (also prohibitively expensive under normal circumstances) as long as I go by February.

Here's an idea!  If your profile mentions how much you like to cuddle (especially if its stated more than once) and you muse in it about how you'd like to find someone to date, not just trick, etc...maybe you could consider posting a pic of yourself in the act of cuddling?  On a couch, in the bed, in the car, anywhere, with anyone  - with a goat, on a boat ...whatever -  with your dog or cat even! 

Perhaps you could post pics like that which might draw in your target audience of cuddlers instead of pics of yourself sucking some off-screen guy's unit while wearing your leather blindfold.

Just a thought.
