profundis: (The Force needs your offerings...)
Would you like to be free of a lifestyle that binds you?  One that can bring strife and anguish -even tear families apart? One that  seeks to impose it's ideas into every aspect of public life - insinuating itself into our country's school, courts and congress halls - even our very moral fiber? One that recruits and brainwashes the most vulnerable members of our society: the young, confused and downcast?

This lifestyle is a CHOICE, no one is born that way, but many fall prey to those already deep in its sway.  It alienates its victims from nature and even the natural use of their own bodies.  They may become completely irrational when confronted with the truth of their agenda. Of course they will resist and refuse to hear the truth, even when it is presented with compassion, but there is hope for their lives and their futures.

You don't have to live in bondage. It IS possible to change.  You don't have to be this way.  Discover how.

profundis: (Oh - that is so LAME!!!)
I like to think of myself as a pretty friendly guy, someone who will at least entertain a civil conversation with a stranger, no matter how strange (come on, I'm a big pal of Danger Woman, so I know from strange). Unless you're flat out rude, creeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy lecherous or hateful, I can hold actual human interaction with you and maybe even be a pal to you - or more, who knows?! That's the wonder of people, eh? You never know where the road will lead next.

Because I like to think of myself as a primarily good person, I even give people credit - doing things for them that other people would likely shy away from because they don't want to get any drama on them, or aren't getting any booty from them so why should they care, or just don't feel like they know them well enough to be bothered. A lot of these people speak and show their gratitude for my help and support, and while that's not really the goal, it sure is nice when it happens.

But maybe I make a seat at the table a little too readily for some folks - maybe I should start putting people on the list and make them wait to be seated 'cause lately I've had a snootful of flakes, phoneys, no-call-no-show dickheads, "one-word-wonders", and people that seem all too ready to call me on the carpet when they should have been asking what was the matter and letting me know that they had my back - you know...reciprocating my friendship.

Well suckaz, if you ain't representin', you best be steppin' cause I'm over it.

If you can't be bothered to pony up when its your turn, don't let the door hitcha where the Good Lord splitcha.

*remove contact, delete pal, remove friend from list, delete selected contact, rinse, repeat*

Corollary: If you feel like I've not returned your kindness or expressed my concern/gratitude when you've helped me - please do bring it to my attention so I can remedy that.

P.S. As much as I love them, this is not a ploy for compliments.  Just venting my spleen a bit. ;)
