With all that's been going on lately it's obvious that people are unhappy with the actions of bear411.com. I know in the past I've made posts how we'll never do this, or never do that, but I realize some may be suspicious of a new site and wonder if it will be the same thing all over again. Because of that, I wanted to create the bearlix.com pledge.

These are our promises to you.

The bearlix.com pledge


* We will not censor. bearlix.com will never be "Big Brother". Your messages and thoughts are your own, and you are free to express them as you wish.

* We will not arbitrarily change profiles. We will never edit, suspend, or terminate your membership or profile "just because". If for any reason we must edit, suspend, or terminate your membership we shall do so courteously and with full disclosure.

* We will not discriminate. The bear community is large and diverse. We are not the gatekeepers of who is "bear" and who is not. All are welcome here.

* We will listen. Without the community, we are nothing. The ways in which bearlix.com can be contacted will be numerous and conspicuous. We will accept criticism gracefully and together make bearlix.com better.

Fun with interests

I like how on bearciti you can tell when one of your friends has signed on just by reading through the interests list when you edit your profile or do a search

For instance:  who could have added these to the database:

• chuck taylors & daredevil

• moof

Also, I think the ghey wiki of interests would make a hilarious read - It interesting to see what interests are right next to each other on the list.  where else but in gayland will you find art right under armpits?  Or barebacking just on top of barefoot contessa? Or my personal favorite: violent anal eruptions just above visiting dave cobb. ;)

Pitcher Halp

Hey there shutterbugs I need a favour (but I can trade some rubbin' for it).  I need some new pics taken for my website that I can't easily take by myself.  Particularly I need pictures of me working so I can update the pics on my website.

I need someone with some photography training or at least a real good eye, not just anyone with a camera - in fact you can use my cameras, I just need some good pics!

I will gladly trade some massage for your trouble, plus credit you where due.
