Writer's Block: My Sixth Grade Jam

OMG! I Love Rock & Roll (Joan Jett and the Blackhearts)! It makes me think of carrying my big ass tape recorder everywhere at school so I could play it a million times. There was so much good music that year but this was one of those songs that somehow seemed epically important - like it added a new letter to the alphabet. At least, important to a 12 year old at a redneck school living in Bumfuck County Gawgia.
