drug legalization: I think drugs should be made legal and taxable (in so much as I think anything should be)...the "War on Drugs" is total fucking BS that wastes billions of dollars to get nothing accomplished but to make the US the largest incarcerator of people on the planet. If someone commits a crime while high - nail them. If they can get high peacefully, why should anyone stop them? Their health and wealth are their own responsibility and there should be plenty of rehab / counseling for people to get off drugs. Put murderers and rapists away - not some schmuck with a nickel-bag.
Eschaton: Quite simply, the Last Thing / End of The World. I personally don't subscribe to any End of the World supersititions, though I suppose the "sun goes red giant" one holds the front runner space in my head. I'm fascinated and disturbed by various end of the world scenarios and by people's need to fantasize /mythologize about it.
Insert Interest Here: I have a little OCD about some things, like I can't stand to have 149 interests so one time when I did, I had to make something up to make it be 150. I also can't stand to have interests that no one else has, thus making them not hyperlink and look different from the rest visually. Alas, I have a couple now that do that. oh well.
