As much as I love Guinness and Irishmen, it is *not* the Saint Patrick's Day *season*. Goobers.

HEY! If Christmas "season" can start in September, now, then St. Patrick's Day can start a few weeks before the 17th.

Gotta run. Picking up some fireworks for Independence Quarter.

It's not? You have obviously never been to an engineering college. St. Pat is the quasi-official saint of engineering students getting drunk and skipping class, and there's a week long official celebration at some school including MSOE.

You'll excuse me if I take the opportunity to scrape the net for pictures of the MSOE Beard Contest.

That's all well and good within your mysterious subculture but that doesn't turn one day into a "season" for the rest of the world, though of course people with something to sell would wish it did, which is why we get Xmas decor at Walmart on Halloween.

Rampant holiday expansionism must be stopped! Where will it all end?! On the 365th Day of Christmas my true love gave up the ghost?
