I am no longer looking for new roommates.

Not only were there no bites (I didn't try craigslist, I just didn't want total strangers in my home) but at this point I have decided to attempt to sell my house here in Kennesaw and move closer to town, most likely to an apartment.

With any house sale (especially in this market) there is no predicting when exactly it would sell, but I'm gonna make it a sweet deal for the buyer just so I can get the heck out of it. As much as I like my cozy home, it has also become an anchor and it is anchored in the wrong place.

Nearly all my regular work and social venues are closer to Atlanta and I'm tired of the drive and gas costs.

So...if you live in ATL (especially along the north side - Marietta /Smyrna /Vinings / Sandy Springs / Dunwoody) and might be interested in a roommate situation of some kind, please do let me know :)

ALSO: Not knowing where or when or what situation exactly I'll be moving into, it is possible, even likely that I will need to find new homes for the dogs. :( Any advice or leads on that front would be most appreciated. They (Ansel and Avery) are medium-large boxer-hound mutts, cute, sweet as pie, have their shots, and are a package deal (kennels, igloo house, water dispensers, leashes, and lots of Frontline included). I do not want to separate them unless they will have another dog (or a frequent human playmate) to play with.

Awww... don't separate the doggies. And, hopefully, you don't have to separate them from you. Boxers, in particular, are very owner-centric, so they'll miss you something awful were you to give them to someone else.

Good luck.
