Well if I survive one more night, I can get the part needed to fix the AC tomorrow morning. I shall be attempting my first HVAC repair job. Wish me luck!

mindchaos and I are gonna try to get through the night without melting. If we should fail, and are reduced to puddles of bear and pup juice by morning, there are straws in the drawer to the right of the refrigerator that you may use to slurp us up.
