I don't get what's bad about this profile? He's good looking and has well shot photos in picturesque locals.

Mmmhmm, just who's been effing up yer cookies lately, mister? ;)

The problem with the profile is actually that the pics are *too* pretty...none of them feel natural to me - they look like R.E.I. catalog pics or something. That and the reminding us of his screen name on every one - though maybe that's so people won't re-use them, I dunno.

Well it's a good policy to watermark images. There are lots of weirdo closet bitches who'll take a pic of a handsome dude and use it as their own.

They're "too pretty" and not "natural"? Like those naturally occurring gay internet profiles found near large deposites of bauxite? It's all a big contrivance, why not look your best?

I think you should stick to the train wrecks, the grasp here is pretty weak.

Well thanks for your suggestion, I'll take it under advisement. Tomorrow, maybe. ;)

I realize this one was subtle, but I never claimed to only aim for the disasters. And don't go gettin all hyper-literal with me about natural and pretty...I'm not talking about his looks (though he *is* pretty), its the "Marlboro Man ad polished look /background" in some of the pics that is tweaking me. Pretty scenery is like puppies and teddy bears when its in every shot. Show me more of the man, less of the art direction. ;)

Yes that's more like it. Also, he needs this book (http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/ASIN/076456790X/qid=1145221228/sr=8-2/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i2_xgl14/702-4643985-1109602).

I'll kill the double entendre right here. Basically I was sharing some files on the network with him and gave him the root password to my Mac (dumb). He made a mistake and dragged the my ~/Library folder somewhere random. That's the bit on the Mac that holds all the Keychain passwords, cookies and various settings for applications. Anyhow I fixed it, the only Application that freaked out was Firefox. Everything else was all "Oh no more passwords.. wanna make a new one? No? Ok!".

This is where I make the obligatory "try doing THAT on Windows" remark...

Aw, durn. I know people that would pay good money for...nevermind. ;)

I might take umbrage at the Window slam (get it?!) if I fully understood what you just said. :D
