profundis | Dragon*Con 2007

Dragon*Con this year was different in a number of ways that all sort of evened out in the end. The hotel room was TINY so that sucked, but the 5 of us in the Bear Den (

korangar ,

peepslayer , Tony,

slacker_x and myself) managed ok as we could. I didn't do the art show which was a little odd feeling but sure was smoother and easier for insertion into and extraction from the event.

Saw some folks I had no expectation to see and some I would have been just as happy not seeing. I worked a good bit in the VIP suite but was not as busy as last year. However the networking was great and I got another con gig as well as interest in several private appointments (one of which I already completed).

I had a good time at the Buffy Horror Picture Show, Danger Woman's revue, the Outworlders' parties and just hanging out in general.

mad_piper, Robbie and

vernal_vices came to visit at different points which was also nice. I wasn't as camera crazy as I usually am but still got a few nice shots.
