L.A. Confidential (well not really) Part 1

joezer about coolukman (see previous post ), Ensign Wayne liquid_wayno picked me up and we chatted and hugged during the long wait for my luggage. A moonlight tour of downtown on the way to his apt and a stop at Jack-in-the-Box (I resolved not to eat anywhere I could eat back home) for some late night munchies, and meeting Wayne's roomies pretty well wrapped up the first evening in L.A.
Sunday Oct 29 - Wayne made some breakfast for us and we headed out on our scenic trip through the hills and to the boardwalk and ocean at Venice Beach (also in previous post ). It was very therapeutic and I made myself stand there and relax...looking out to the sailboats in the distance and watching the gullls overhead, soaking in the sunshine and breathing in the salt air....staring at the patterns in the seafoam, picking up shells. Wayne and I both got caught by a surprise wave or two and ended up with sandy wet cootchies (and yes, JP, it does itch). LOL!
( We had plans to go to the bar )
