Date: 2007-08-15 01:48 am (UTC)I've stepped down and am feeling much better now. But yeah, the bear thing has been on my mind for a few years and the reaction from various folks on various blogs touched a wee nerve.
I am by no means a defender of BearForce1 (giggle) just was surprised at what a strong negative "those guys need to be shot" (on one blog) response it had.

Date: 2007-08-15 05:44 am (UTC)Actually, I really like what yer saying about all this. I just saw this for the first time tonight, and apparently I'm already so far behind everyone. In the world of LJ timeliness, "That fucking Bearforce 1 video was so this morning!" Anyway, I really liked it. Silly, satirical, dancy fun. Made me grin. Like Alanis' version of "My Humps." I loved that everyone got so up in arms about an obviously fun poke at herself and pop.
Jeez, my ursine brethren, lighten up. (Not you or Mikey, just, you know, in general.)
